The Lobster Sender is a dynamic all-mountain freestyle snowboard featuring a Lobster specific 3D base profile on a directional twin shape. Designed for powerful riders who do it all, the Lobster Sender can handle big lines and huge hits with ease.
Soft / Playful
Hard / Aggressive
Fast, fun, and versatile. these boards are the best way to get down the mountain with effortless float, high speed stability and top end performance.
The nose and tail have a 3D shape with the uplift starting at the end of the contact area. The 3D advantages are increased by the SideKick™.
Our most aggressive tip-to-tail camber creates a more poppy ride: ollies go bigger, edge changes go faster and the board is spring loaded to help absorb landings. Combined with our unique 3D shaping it is less likely to hook up than equivalent cambers from other manufacturers.
WOODCORE - CORE CORE
A blend of poplar wood reinforced with two central hardwood stringers to enhance pop reinforce the camber and strengthen the insert area.
GLASS FIBRE - TRIAX
Our three-way weave of fiberglass is light, strong and responsive. We use this to beef up the flex pattern.
BASE - ULTRA GLIDE S
Maximum molecular content for a hardened sintered base that hauls ass. More molecules mean a denser base that can take a beating using ISO-Sport 7000 series as backbone.
BASE - FLIPFLOP
Boards with a flip flop base have two or more base color variations. Orders will be filled with either color. We use this process to reduce waste.
SIDEWALLS - FLEXWALLS
Urethane infused Flex Walls. The added urethane helps dampen vibrations.
This Carbon Layup configuration powers up your nose and tail from the binding area to the tips. This setup will make for a more aggressive ride. The more power you are able to bring to your turns and jumps the more the board will deliver.
SideKick™ increases the sidebase uplift at the widest points of the nose and tail. This makes turn initiation even smoother, enhances float in powder and improves board handling in rough terrain. It has to be ridden to be believed!
This board has 3D technology in the nose and tail.
I cancelled the order before it even shipped . The order was still shipped , my credit card charged , and I had to pay for return shipping . Idiots
This board is absolutely wicked. For around a decade I used to ride a Burton board, i'm not sure of the model of the board since has been over 10 years. But I was looking for a new setup and looking into what other boards were out there besides what seems like everyone's "go to". Well, after browsing around the web for a few hours low and behold I found Lobster snowboards. This board rides like no other, the amount of confidence this board gives you on the snow is unheard of. Going off of jumps, side hits and features gives me confidence i've never had in a snowboard, making me want to hit even bigger features and see how much this board can really do! The amount of pop in this board is also insane, this board almost wants to get you off the ground and fly into the air, perfect for those (like myself) who are making their way into the parks to advance their skills..truly a fantastic board. I'll give this board a 4/5 as I was a bit concerned with how board was packaged up. It arrived in an empty box, with no foam or anything protecting the board itself. Besides the packaging, this board is an easy 10/10 for me.
10/10 a do it all and do it bigger board. It's fast, aggressive, unreal pop, and perfect medium flex. Don't be afraid if you're a park rat, It's got plenty of that triple base magic. So far it's stood up to a year of constant heavy rail hits like a champion. My other board is a 151 '14 lobster jib, which is like a wet noodle combined with a dish sled (in a good way) I was worried this board (159) would be too directional and unforgiving for park/street use. I was wrong. This board just makes you send your sh*t bigger. You aren't riding the sender. the sender rides you. This board handles better in every snow condition and never catches edges. I swear TBT is the second best thing next to helmets in preventing concussions. I'll ride lobster till I die, you guys killed it with this one. It's so good I might buy three more for my children, grandchildren, and their children. Much love to Halldor, Eiki, Fridge, and the whole lobster team. I've been a huge fan of y'all since I started riding in 2008. Never stop making boards and keep on doing what you do. Skál from Minnesota.
I've now gotten a chance to ride this puppy on super pow days and long groomer days and it has help up pretty well. Stiff enough for bombing those groomers and easy to float through the pow. It's my first time with a 3BT board, so it's worth noting that you're gonna learn to ride fast with this thing because it REALLY takes off and is a little harder to stop. Excited for the rest of the season.
Nothing but good stuff.
