Fast, fun, and versatile. these boards are the best way to get down the mountain with effortless float, high speed stability and top end performance.
The nose and tail have a 3D shape with the uplift starting at the end of the contact area. The 3D advantages are increased by the SideKick™.
Our unique 3D shape allows us to put full tip-to-tail traditional camber this makes for a more poppy ride: ollies go bigger, edge-to-edge switching goes faster and the board is always loaded to absorb landings.
A blend of poplar wood reinforced with two central hardwood stringers to enhance pop reinforce the camber and strengthen the insert area.
Our traditional and time tested two-way weave of fiberglass is light, strong and responsive keeping the board snappy without adding torsional stiffness.
Our standard sintered base that’s tough and fast, and faster when waxed.
Urethane infused Flex Walls. The added urethane helps dampen vibrations.
This Carbon Layup configuration adds longtitudinal stifness to the nose and tail area’s while keeping the board torsionally softer between the bindings. This will help keeping the nose from folding in high speed run and makes your oliies pop as high as possible while keeping the board nice and responsive between the feet.
SideKick™ increases the sidebase uplift at the widest points of the nose and tail. This makes turn initiation even smoother, enhances float in powder and improves board handling in rough terrain. It has to be ridden to be believed!
This board has 3D technology in the nose and tail.
Got this board near the end of the season and I can already tell it'll be my main board for next year! It's great!
Ultra fun board that is extremely playful and fun to take anywhere on the mountain. Flex rating definitely feels a bit high like the other reviews say - if I could rate the flex myself I would probably call it a 3/10, but the full camber helps to offset that and keep the board really stable!
This board is the real deal for all mountain and anything you truly need it for it'll have your back. Felt super in control during spring conditions and that just screams EPICNESS during the beginning of the winter season 2021. Can't wait to use this bad boy to melt the POW this upcoming season. It is legit, it looks clean AF, and the graphics are dope. Super cool stuff. Lobster ......you are Rockin.
Super responsive on groomers and bombing hills. Good flex for park and other jibs. Bad ass board all around
I got this board at the beginning of April, and since then I've only had a chance to ride it once. So this is a first-ride-reveiw.
Previous daily driver: LibTech MC 157 (99/00 release); full camber profile; pre magna-traction; flex probably a 7 or 8.
First ride conditions: Late April spring snow, 9am @ 36° – 11am @ 40°, high-overcast
I picked up the 158 Cream anticipating it would ride a bit short due to the 3BT/side-kicked nose/tail. Glad I went with the 158, but I probably could have gone with the 161 as well—this thing def rides like a shorter board, but can hold an edge when carving. Definitely had fun laying down some deep ruts. Board ran fast in these conditions, but I also hot waxed it with some OBJ Summer Slush to be safe. Again, because of the 3BT/Side-Kick, flat-spinning the board was easy as pie, and buttering was much easier compared to my previous 2x4 board. What I didn’t expect—and this may be due to how I rode my previous board in the flats—the Cream felt a little squirrely at times, making me think I was about to catch an edge, although I never did. I may need to relearn how to ride the flats with the Cream as I think you can actually keep the board flat instead of always keeping an edge engaged. Not sure, will be testing this in the next few trips.
Overall, I had a fun of ton on this board, and I am excited to see how it rides in proper winter conditions. I’m also excited to see how it handles in powder conditions. But between no and June, it’s all slush, and this thing is a slush-slayer for sure!
